The complete Zone 5 timetable for Singapore international-school and private candidates β every subject, every component code, verified against the official Cambridge schedule. Featuring live exam countdowns, subject filtering, and 1-click export to Google Calendar, plus copy-for-Google-Docs and a printable PDF.
Live days-remaining for the Cambridge IGCSE October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: the first written paper is Monday 28 September 2026, IGCSE Economics Paper 2 (0455/23) is on 20 October 2026, and the series ends with Chemistry (0620/13 and 0620/23) on 12 November 2026. Counters update automatically each second.
Cambridge examines IGCSE in two main series each year β May/June and October/November β plus a March series that runs only in India (not Singapore). Knowing which series you sit is the first step: prepare for the wrong calendar and every plan slips.
Runs roughly late April to mid-June β the standard sitting for most Singapore international schools. Use the May/June toggle in the planner; June 2027 dates are pending publication.
Runs Mon 28 Sep to Thu 12 Nov 2026 in Zone 5 β the go-to series for resits and private candidates. The planner uses the confirmed Zone 5 dates.
Cambridge divides the world into administrative zones so examinations are staggered across time zones. Zone 5 covers Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. Every date here is drawn from the Zone 5 timetable β a date from a UK, India (Zone 4) or Middle East (Zone 3) schedule can be wrong for a Singapore candidate. Exact clock start times are set by each centre under Cambridge's Key Time rules, so this page shows the official session (Morning / Afternoon / Evening) and paper duration rather than an invented start time.
Turning these dates into a plan that gets followed is the job of our Study Supervision programme.
Cambridge splits the world into six administrative zones (plus a separate UK timetable) so exams are staggered across time zones for security. Each zone has slightly different paper dates and Key Times, but the syllabus content and grading standard are identical. Singapore operates under Cambridge Administrative Zone 5.
| Zone | Region (broad guide) | Example countries / territories |
|---|---|---|
| Zone 5 Singapore | East & Southeast Asia | Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong |
| Zone 4 | South Asia | India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka |
| Zone 3 | Europe, Middle East & much of Africa | UAE, Middle East, Europe, many African centres (the UK has its own timetable) |
| Zone 1 & Zone 2 | The Americas | USA, Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America |
| Zone 6 | Pacific / other | Assigned by Cambridge for remaining centres |
| Zone UK | United Kingdom | UK centres use a dedicated UK timetable |
No match in this quick guide β your exam centre ultimately determines your zone. Use Cambridge's official lookup below.
This is a broad guide, not an official assignment. Your exam centre determines your zone. Confirm it with your school's exams officer, or for private candidates the British Council, and use the official Cambridge administrative-zone lookup before choosing a timetable. Cambridge cannot accept responsibility if a candidate uses the wrong zone's timetable.

Self-contained summaries for the most-taken subjects: assessment structure, the confirmed Zone 5 October/November 2026 dates, and how to revise for each. Every date, code, session and duration is drawn from the official Cambridge Zone 5 timetable.
Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455), offered by Cambridge Assessment International Education, is assessed by two written papers with no coursework. Paper 1 is a 45-minute multiple-choice paper worth 30 marks, testing knowledge and analysis across the whole syllabus. Paper 2 is a 2-hour-15-minute structured-questions paper worth 90 marks β three-quarters of the total β built from one compulsory data-response question (30 marks) and a choice of three from four extended questions (20 marks each); it is where evaluation (assessment objective AO3) marks are won or lost. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 (Singapore) series: Paper 2 β Structured Questions (0455/23) on Tue 20 Oct 2026, morning session, 2h 15m; Paper 1 β Multiple Choice (0455/13) on Wed 4 Nov 2026, evening session, 45m. Most Singapore international schools instead sit the May/June series, where the same two papers fall in the early written phase. Revision guidance from KS Academia Prep: finalise core micro and macro theory and diagram accuracy about two weeks before Paper 2, then spend the final fortnight on timed structured-question practice marked against the official criteria, because at this level students lose more marks to unpractised exam technique than to gaps in content. Always verify exact dates and start times with your school or British Council centre.
Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies (0450) is assessed by two written papers of equal weight, each 1 hour 30 minutes. Paper 1 combines short-answer and data-response questions; Paper 2 is a case-study paper in which candidates apply business concepts to a given scenario. Strong performance depends on applying theory to the specific business in the stimulus rather than writing generic definitions. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Paper 1 (0450/12) on Tue 6 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 30m; Paper 2 (0450/22) on Fri 16 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 30m. Revision guidance: build a bank of real and case-study examples and practise applying them to unseen scenarios under timed conditions; the case-study Paper 2 rewards application and judgement, not recall alone. Confirm exact dates and start times with your school or exam centre.
Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580) is tiered. Core candidates (grades CβG) sit two papers; Extended candidates (grades A*βE) sit two longer papers covering additional higher-tier content, including a non-calculator paper introduced in the current syllabus. The tier is chosen with your teacher based on target grade and is fixed at entry. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Paper 1 (Core) / Paper 2 (Extended) (0580/12 Core / 0580/22 Extended) on Thu 8 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 30m / 2h; Paper 3 (Core) / Paper 4 (Extended) (0580/32 Core / 0580/42 Extended) on Wed 14 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 30m / 2h. Revision guidance: work to the specific tier you are entered for, drilling past-paper questions by topic and timing full papers in the final weeks; accuracy under time pressure, not new content, is usually the difference between adjacent grades. Verify your components and exact start times against your statement of entry.
Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics (0606) is a single-tier qualification for stronger mathematicians, assessed by two 2-hour papers of equal weight that extend well beyond the core IGCSE Mathematics syllabus into calculus, functions and trigonometry. It is common preparation for A-Level Mathematics and IB Higher Level. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Paper 1 (0606/13) on Wed 30 Sep 2026, morning session, 2h; Paper 2 (0606/23) on Tue 6 Oct 2026, morning session, 2h. Revision guidance: prioritise the topics that carry the heaviest marks β calculus and algebra β and rehearse full timed papers, since the paper is long and pace matters. Confirm exact dates and start times with your centre.
Cambridge IGCSE Biology (0610) follows the 2026β2028 syllabus and is assessed by a multiple-choice paper, a theory paper at the candidate's tier (Core or Extended), and a practical assessment sat as either a practical examination or the written Alternative to Practical (ATP) β the ATP route removes the laboratory requirement, which is why it suits many private candidates. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Theory (Core / Extended) (0610/33 Core / 0610/43 Extended) on Fri 16 Oct 2026, morning session, 1h 15m; Practical / Alternative to Practical (0610/53 Practical / 0610/63 ATP) on Tue 13 Oct 2026, morning session, 1h 15m / 1h; Multiple Choice (Core / Extended) (0610/13 Core / 0610/23 Extended) on Tue 10 Nov 2026, morning session, 45m. Revision guidance: pair content revision with dedicated practical-skills practice (variables, results tables, graphs and evaluation), because experimental-method marks are frequently under-practised. Verify your exact components and start times with your centre.
Cambridge IGCSE Chemistry (0620) follows the 2026β2028 syllabus and mirrors the science assessment pattern: a multiple-choice paper, a tiered theory paper (Core or Extended), and either a practical examination or the written Alternative to Practical (ATP). In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Theory (Core / Extended) (0620/33 Core / 0620/43 Extended) on Mon 12 Oct 2026, morning session, 1h 15m; Practical / Alternative to Practical (0620/53 Practical / 0620/63 ATP) on Thu 15 Oct 2026, morning session, 1h 15m / 1h; Multiple Choice (Core / Extended) (0620/13 Core / 0620/23 Extended) on Thu 12 Nov 2026, morning session, 45m. Revision guidance: master the core calculations (moles, formulae, equations) early and rehearse practical technique separately from theory; these are the two areas where marks are most often lost. Always confirm the exact components you are entered for against your statement of entry.
Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) is assessed by a multiple-choice paper, a tiered theory paper (Core or Extended), and either a practical examination or the written Alternative to Practical (ATP). Success depends on fluency with formulae, units and required practical procedures. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Theory (Core / Extended) (0625/32 Core / 0625/42 Extended) on Wed 7 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 15m; Practical / Alternative to Practical (0625/52 Practical / 0625/62 ATP) on Tue 20 Oct 2026, afternoon session, 1h 15m / 1h; Multiple Choice (Core / Extended) (0625/12 Core / 0625/22 Extended) on Thu 5 Nov 2026, afternoon session, 45m. Revision guidance: build a formula-and-units sheet and drill numerical questions to speed, then rehearse practical questions using past ATP papers; unit errors and unpractised practical write-ups are common, avoidable losses. Verify exact dates and start times with your centre.
Cambridge IGCSE First Language English (0500) is assessed by two 2-hour written papers β a reading paper and a writing paper β with an optional Speaking & Listening endorsement reported separately. The papers reward precise reading, controlled writing for different purposes, and analysis of writers' effects rather than memorised content. In the confirmed October/November 2026 Zone 5 series: Paper 1 β Reading (0500/13) on Mon 19 Oct 2026, morning session, 2h; Paper 2 β Writing (0500/23) on Wed 21 Oct 2026, morning session, 2h; Speaking & Listening (0500/04) within the 15 Sepβ27 Oct centre window. Revision guidance: practise timed responses to unseen texts and directed-writing tasks, and study mark schemes to see exactly what distinguishes a top-band response. Confirm exact dates, components and start times with your school or exam centre.
Tick the subjects you are taking. Your candidate timetable β with live countdowns, calendar export, a workload heatmap and clash detection β updates instantly below. Selections are saved on your device and shareable by link. Core/Extended and Practical/ATP are shown together per sitting; you sit the components you are entered for.
Calendar exports are all-day events carrying the session and duration in the title β Cambridge does not publish clock start times, so none are invented. Add your centre's exact start time once confirmed. βHow to add to Google Calendarβ: use the + Google Calendar link on any row for a single paper, or Download .ics and import the file (Google Calendar β Settings β Import & export) to add every selected paper at once.
Cambridge issues results to your school or exam centre first; the centre then releases them to you, often the same day. Grades are published online at myresults.cie.org.uk using centre-issued logins. Printed certificates follow later β around end of October for the June series and end of March for November.
| Series | Level | Results date (UK time) | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| June 2026 | IGCSE & O Level | 18 Aug 2026, 06:00 | Confirmed |
| Nov 2026 | IGCSE & O Level | Mid-January 2027 | Estimated |
If a grade sits near a boundary, your centre can request an Enquiry About Results β see the FAQ below. Results and re-marks are handled by Cambridge; registration is handled by British Council Singapore.
International-school students are entered by their school. Private candidates (homeschoolers, resitters, or students not at a Cambridge school) register through the British Council.
| Stage | Deadline (Oct/Nov 2026) | Note |

Deadlines are session-specific and can change β treat the British Council Singapore school-exams portal as authoritative.
A month-by-month guide to using the exam calendar as a revision plan, built around the confirmed Zone 5 dates.
Close syllabus gaps while there is still slack. Register on time (normal stage closes 8 August). Convert notes into active-recall materials rather than re-reading β the single biggest driver of grade movement. Our revision guides cover the retrieval-practice methods that work for Cambridge assessment.
Speaking and practical windows open mid-September; written papers begin 28 September. Shift from learning to timed practice, marking against the official criteria. This is where a structured, accountable routine matters most β see our Study Supervision approach.
Most theory, structured and practical papers land in October. Between papers, revise for what is next, not everything at once β the workload heatmap in the planner shows exactly where your tight clusters are. Subject-specific technique pays off now: IGCSE Economics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics all reward exam-board-specific practice over generic revision.
Many Paper 1 multiple-choice components fall in early November β Economics on 4 November, Physics on 5 November, Biology on 10 November, and the series closes with Chemistry on 12 November. Keep sessions short, targeted and frequent right to the end.
For the October/November 2026 series in Singapore (Zone 5), written papers run from Monday 28 September to Thursday 12 November 2026. The earliest written papers on 28 September are Islamiyat (0493/12), Environmental Management (0680/12) and First Language Spanish (0502/13). Speaking and practical windows open earlier, from mid-September. Most Singapore international schools instead sit the May/June series, which runs from roughly late April to mid-June.
Duration depends on the paper, not the subject β from 45 minutes for a multiple-choice component to 2 hours 30 minutes for Drama (0411/13). Reading time is already included in the figure shown; no extra time is added unless a candidate has an approved access arrangement.
Economics Paper 2 (0455/23, Structured Questions) is on Tuesday 20 October 2026 in the morning session, lasting 2 hours 15 minutes. Paper 1 (0455/13, Multiple Choice) is on Wednesday 4 November 2026 in the evening session β an unusually long gap this series, which changes how you should schedule revision.
Additional Mathematics (0606) Paper 1 (0606/13) is on Wednesday 30 September 2026 in the morning, and Paper 2 (0606/23) on Tuesday 6 October 2026 in the morning, each 2 hours, in Zone 5.
The Biology practical paper (0610/53) is on Tuesday 13 October 2026 in the morning session, 1 hour 15 minutes. Candidates entered for the Alternative to Practical (0610/63) sit it the same morning, one hour. Both fall before the Biology theory papers on 16 October.
Many IGCSE subjects are tiered. Core papers cover grades C to G; Extended papers cover grades A* to E and include harder material. They have different component codes sat in the same session β for example Mathematics Paper 1 Core is 0580/12 while Paper 2 Extended is 0580/22, both in the afternoon of 8 October 2026. You sit one tier per subject, decided with your teacher based on target grade.
In Zone 5, the final papers are the Chemistry multiple-choice components (0620/13 Core and 0620/23 Extended) on Thursday 12 November 2026 in the morning session.
Cambridge has not yet published the final June 2027 Zone 5 timetable; it is typically released roughly a year ahead of the series. Based on the series pattern, expect written papers from late April to mid-June 2027, with results in mid-August 2027. The May/June view in the planner above uses the actual June 2026 Zone 5 dates as a labelled reference pattern; exact 2027 dates will shift by a few days and this page will be updated the moment Cambridge releases them.
A clash is two papers timetabled for the same session on the same day. Cambridge's rule is that you sit both on the day where possible, with a supervised break between them; where that is not possible your exams officer applies for a timetable deviation. You should submit your entries, wait for your timetable clash report, and let the exams officer handle any deviation through Cambridge β it is never arranged informally between student and teacher. See Cambridge's guidance on timetable clashes and deviations. Source: Cambridge exam administration
Access arrangements β such as extra time, a reader, a scribe, a prompter or modified papers β let candidates with a demonstrated need show what they know without changing the standard assessed. They must be approved in advance through your centre, with supporting evidence, and some require Cambridge approval by a set deadline. For the October/November 2026 series the access-arrangements deadline in Singapore is 1 November 2026. Arrange these early with your exams officer; they cannot be added at the last minute. If illness, injury or a serious personal circumstance affects your performance or stops you attending, your centre can apply to Cambridge for special consideration. This must be supported by evidence (for example a medical certificate) and submitted by your exams officer within Cambridge's deadline after the affected paper. Special consideration can result in a small mark adjustment where a candidate was present but disadvantaged; it cannot manufacture a grade where too little assessment was completed. Tell your exams officer immediately β do not wait. Source: Cambridge special consideration
Bring only what is permitted: your statement of entry, allowed pens and pencils, a see-through pencil case, a translation dictionary only if your syllabus permits, and an approved calculator for papers where calculators are allowed. Mobile phones, smart watches and any web-enabled or communication device are prohibited in the exam room β having one on you, even switched off, is malpractice. Arrive early, follow the invigilator's instructions, and do not communicate with other candidates. Your centre issues the exact rules under Cambridge's regulations. If a grade looks wrong, your centre can request an Enquiry About Results (EAR) β a clerical re-check or a full review of marking β within Cambridge's deadline after results are released. A review can move a grade up, down or leave it unchanged, so it is a considered decision made with your centre, not an automatic appeal. Enquiries are submitted by the exams officer, not by candidates directly; there is a fee, often refunded if a grade changes. Priority services exist where a university place depends on the outcome. June 2026 IGCSE results are released on 18 August 2026 at 06:00 UK time. October/November 2026 results are expected in mid-January 2027, with the exact date confirmed by Cambridge closer to the series. Results are published online at myresults.cie.org.uk using centre-issued logins; they reach your school or exam centre first, then you.
Yes β Cambridge allows unlimited resits of individual subjects with no restrictions, and your higher grade is the one that counts. The next opportunity is simply the following June or November series. Targeted, mark-scheme-focused preparation before a resit makes the biggest difference.
Register through British Council Singapore via its school-exams service, not directly with Cambridge. IGCSE is the standard route for Singapore homeschoolers, partly because science subjects offer an Alternative to Practical paper that removes the laboratory requirement. Register in the normal stage (8 August 2026 for the November series) to avoid late fees. Source: British Council Singapore school exams
From cambridgeinternational.org under Exam Timetables β choose the Zone 5 PDF for your series (October/November 2026 or June 2027 once published). Your centre can also export a personalised .csv of only the papers you are entered for from Cambridge International Direct. This page summarises and organises that official Zone 5 data, and offers its own CSV and JSON downloads below. Source: Cambridge exam timetables
Cambridge divides the world into administrative zones so exam sessions are staggered across time zones and papers cannot be shared ahead. Zone 5 covers Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. Singapore candidates must use the Zone 5 timetable; a date from a UK, India (Zone 4) or Middle East (Zone 3) timetable can be wrong for Singapore.
Cambridge splits the world into six administrative zones (plus a separate UK timetable) so exams are staggered across time zones for security β each zone has slightly different paper dates and Key Times, though the syllabus content and standard are identical. As a broad guide: Zone 4 covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka; Zone 5 covers Singapore, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong; Zone 3 covers Europe, the Middle East (including the UAE) and much of Africa; and the Americas fall under Zones 1 and 2. Singapore operates under Cambridge Administrative Zone 5. Your exam centre ultimately determines your zone, so confirm it with your school's exams officer β or, for private candidates, the British Council β and use Cambridge's official zone lookup before choosing a timetable. Study Supervision isn't an extra lesson β it's structured, supervised time where the work between lessons actually gets done. Most tuition only reaches students for the two to three hours they're in class each week; what happens in the other 160-plus hours is usually left to chance. Students attend on fixed days each week, with frequency increasing as exams approach, in a dedicated classroom supervised by a Teaching Assistant, with regular one-to-one check-ins throughout. Phones are kept at the administration desk for the full session, and parents can contact the centre directly for anything urgent. Homework is marked against an answer key from the subject tutor; for subjects where answers vary in quality β Economics essays and case studies, for example β marking is done personally by the tutor. Mr Jason Low, KS Academia Prep's Head of Economics, is known among students for marking exam scripts late into the night to return detailed, examination-standard feedback.
It's academic planning, not tuition. It addresses decisions that carry two years of consequences but are often made on hearsay β which subjects to take, HL versus SL, and how each choice maps to university requirements in Singapore, the UK, the US and beyond. A consultation works through a student's strengths, workload capacity and target pathway to arrive at a subject combination they can sustain for the full Diploma.
Yes. Families search for this kind of structured, accountable support under many different terms β academic coaching, supervised study, a structured study programme, homework support or a homework club, guided self-study, a student accountability programme. Whatever the label, the core is the same: fixed, supervised sessions where a Teaching Assistant makes sure assigned work is actually completed and properly marked, not just attempted.
Knowing when your exams fall is the easy part. What separates a 5 from a 7, or a B from an A*, is rarely more content β it's a plan that actually gets followed, and the right decisions made early enough to matter. Those are the two things most tuition centres leave to chance, and the two things KS Academia Prep is built around.
For students: you don't lack ability β you lack a system. Notes you meant to review, papers you meant to time, that Internal Assessment you kept pushing back. Our Study Supervision replaces last-minute panic with structured, supervised sessions where the work genuinely gets done, week after week.
For parents: the hardest part of the IB and IGCSE isn't any single subject β it's the decisions around them. Which subjects, at which level, for which university pathway. Our IBDP Subject Consultation turns those high-stakes choices into a clear, informed plan.
