I successfully managed to gain both a 7 in HL econs and A for econs extended essay. Taking classes from Jason tutor was an amazing experience. He focuses on both the 'intuitive understanding of economic concepts' and 'the practical methods to score high marks in the actual exam'. He doesn't just patiently explain economic knowledge and theory; he also helps students break down answering technique and study method. He never asks us to memorise by rote; instead he uses mind maps and chains of logic to help us understand each concept thoroughly and retain it. The essay structure, answering technique, IA writing method and efficient memorisation approach he taught me not only got me a 7 in IB HL Economics, they have benefited me in my other subjects too. I joined Jason's IB econs class during Grade 11 and it's been really helpful! I was always very engaged during the lessons and the way Jason teaches is very efficient. I maintained a 7 throughout the IB course and ended up getting a 7 on my final exam as well. Thanks to Jason, I didn't have to prepare too much for finals - the weekly lessons itself are enough to pull you through! I started attending KS classes in grade 9, getting tuition help with mostly IGCSE subjects. One of the subjects that helped me out the most at school is definitely economics. My economics tutor was Kirby Ng, and I think what made his lessons with me so helpful and special was his approachability. Kirby, apart from his superb teaching skills, was also an extremely friendly and approachable teacher, that I was able to contact at any time, when I had questions, or needed help with anything. One of the most memorable experiences I have with Kirby would be the holiday programme, where we would meet as a class almost 6 hours a week, just to drill through the past papers, and also to cover any content that we lacked. This especially helped me in my journey of economics, as Kirby gave each of us personalised feedback to help us excel. Overall, my economics grades went from a 60-70% in grade 9 to a 94% in the IGCSE. I strongly recommend these IGCSE economics lessons as it can often be quite challenging to study a completely new subject. I am certain that Kirby will be able to provide his support and guidance, no matter what level you are at, just like he did for me.

Although I spent less than a year learning from Jason, his tutoring has been the most enriching and beneficial for me. From the start, I wasn't a very competent humanities student, and getting the highest grade seemed completely out of reach. His lessons helped to bolster my conceptual understanding of the principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, and his way of teaching even brought me to enjoy the topic of International Economics, which originally was my least favourite topic. Jason's notes and summary courses are terse and also very enriching, and they left room for additional real-world examples that I could even use in my essays. His timed practices also helped to optimize my in-exam pace, which a lot of students (including myself) were struggling with. Ultimately, I noticed massive improvement from near-failing to a top grade.

I learned IGCSE Economics and IB Economics SL from my tutor Jason. His explanations were always clear and he provided students with appropriate examples that helped me to understand theories better. Thanks to his lessons, Economics was not a problem at all for me in my IB finals.

I took IB Econ lessons from Jason. He was very clear, patient, and knew exactly how to guide me through the IB. He also had a strong understanding of both IB requirements and Economics, so he was always able to answer my questions clearly and in detail. Our translation I attended this academy while preparing for IGCSE Mathematics, and in the end I received the A* I was aiming for! They organised everything systematically, from consolidating concepts to the question types that come up most often in past papers. My skills improved quickly because, whenever I got stuck or confused working on my own, the teacher explained only the key point in a way that was easy to understand. Strongly recommended for anyone who wants a high IGCSE Mathematics score!

I've taken math classes with tutor Ara since 9th grade in high school (Singapore American School) and throughout the 4 years in high school. I dont know how I would have survived AP's and SAT without her help. Took not just all kinds of high school math courses but AP Calculus AB and BC too. She was the only reason I could get straight A's in all math courses throughout high school. She is indeed the nicest tutor I've met and the best teacher. She's really patient, never gets frustrated even when I don't understand things or ask the same question over and over. Even though I graduated, I still sometimes drop by this center to thank her.

I took both Korean Math and English Math with Ara. This was my first time doing Korean Math, and I was a bit worried that it would be too tough but thanks to her thorough and detailed guidance I ended up winning Gold medals in both the school Math Competition and Math Essay Contest! For English Math, she tailored the lessons to fill in my weak spots, so I learned a lot in every single class.

For AP math classes this place is the best! Ara was my math teacher throughout all four years of high school, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Before I started learning with her, I had a different tutor, but I was never able to get into the higher-level math classes. After studying with Ara, I was able to move into an accelerated math class. She explains everything thoroughly, helps break down difficult concepts, and always prepares her students for tests. If you're looking for a math tutor who genuinely cares about her students, I can't recommend Ara enough.
