KS Academia Prep’s Holiday Programme replaces unsupervised “catching up” with a structured, small-group intensive that keeps IB and IGCSE students on track across Economics, Mathematics, the Sciences, English and Geography — without waiting for the new term to start.
Each Holiday Programme intake is built around the subjects KS Academia Prep already teaches at IGCSE and IB level: Economics (IGCSE and IB SL/HL), Mathematics (including IGCSE Additional Mathematics and IB Mathematics AA/AI), Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Computer Science, English, and Geography. Sessions are led by subject specialists — including Jason Low, Head of Economics, and Ara, Head of Mathematics — in small groups, so feedback addresses each student’s actual gaps rather than a generic syllabus recap.
What distinguishes KS Academia Prep’s Holiday Programme from a typical school-holiday crash course is Study Supervision. Alongside subject teaching, students are guided through structured, accountable study blocks — identifying what to revise, practising retrieval rather than re-reading, and reviewing progress with a tutor — so the holiday period builds independent study habits that carry back into term time, not just short-term content coverage.
The Holiday Programme runs twice a year, aligned with the school calendar most IB and IGCSE families in Singapore follow: the June school holidays and the November–December year-end break. The June intake typically supports students consolidating the first half of the academic year or preparing ahead of the new IB/IGCSE year group; the November–December intake is geared towards post-mock revision, IB Internal Assessment or Extended Essay progress, and getting ahead of the January term. Both intakes are held at Far East Shopping Centre, #15-06, 545 Orchard Road — a short walk from Orchard MRT.
